This week, I’m hosting an Open House in Avon, just west of Indianapolis, IN. Spurred by recent growth, Avon is expanding. The city maintains close proximity to I-465 and I-70 for downtown commuters but keeps a small-town feel.
Avon City Hall Park is an 82.5 acre park with trails, a lake, and playgrounds. Local restaurants include Charbonos, a local steak and pasta eatery, GreenLeaf, a Vietnamese place featuring Bubble Tea, and FrostBite, an ice cream walk-up. There is even a summertime Farmers Market!
The housing market in Avon mirrors the overall market in Central Indiana. Homes are moving quickly- many are selling in as little as one month. Potential buyers should act quickly and come to the table with a strong offer. Potential sellers should take advantage of low inventory and get their home out there in this hot market. New construction is a great option as many builders are developing new subdivisions.
Check the listings! There are neighborhoods representing buyers searching for first homes in the $100s all the way up to luxury homes over $1 million.
