This week, I’m exploring homes in Westfield, just north of Indianapolis and Carmel, IN. The downtown area, old farmhouses, new construction, a sports park, and city parks and trails combine to give the city a fun, vibrant atmosphere that enticed CNN Money Magazine to place it among their “Best Places to Live” list. The city has a great small-town vibe but it is still only about 35 minutes to downtown Indy.

Much like Zionsville, Westfield is best known for the downtown village with restaurants and shops.Rail Epicurian Market boasts “Food Raised in a Barn” and The Italian House offers a finer dining experience.

The housing market in Westfield mirrors the overall market in Central Indiana. Homes are moving quickly- many are selling in as little as one month. Potential buyers should act quickly and come to the table with a strong offer. Potential sellers should take advantage of low inventory and get their home out there in this hot market.
