Bates-Hendricks Neighborhood!

523 Cottage Avenue

On Sunday, February 19 from 2:00-4:00, I am hosting an Open House at 523 Cottage Avenue in the up-and-coming Bates-Hendricks neighborhood. I’m excited about the opportunities for both buying and selling in this charming little tucked-away community.

It boasts walk- or bike-ability to Downtown and Fountain Square with all of the shopping, food, and beverages they have to offer. It is also near gorgeous Garfield Park with running, walking, biking, swimming, playgrounds, and basketball courts. Garfield Park also is home to beautiful gardens and a conservatory!

The housing market in Bates-Hendricks is in flux. Fixer-uppers sit next to stunning stud-gutted remodels, including some from HGTV’s Two Chicks and a Hammer. The Chicks and other area builders are snapping up lots and damaged properties at an increasing rate. This neighborhood is definitely “the next big thing.” Recent comparable properties are selling from between $15,000 to $340,000 with all price points in between. There really is something for everyone and plenty of potential for investment.
